Lost and Found
Lost and Found at the Airport
Traveling can be hectic! So, it’s easy to understand how something can get left behind.
At BHM, we understand that finding your lost item is of upmost importance to you. And we are here to help! If you’ve lost an item, you can tell us about it here and actually track whether it’s been found and turned in.
Through our Lost and Found system, you can:
- Report your lost item, including a description
- Upload a photo
- Designate the location where you may have left it
- Track whether it’s been found and turned in
- Make arrangements with our customer service team to get your item back if it’s been located and turned in
The airport Lost and Found receives items that are found inside and outside of the terminal to
include the public walkways, restrooms, gate areas, restaurants, retail stores, baggage claim,
outdoor areas close to the terminal, and the BHM Economy Lot shuttle buses. If you believe
that your item was lost in one of these areas, simply report it into our system through the link
provided.
You May Need to Contact Another Organization
If your item was left on an aircraft, in a rental car, at a rental car counter, or at the TSA security checkpoint, you will need to communicate with the applicable organization (airline, rental car company or the TSA) because they manage their own Lost and Found operations. If you have questions about who to contact, please call the Info Desk in the terminal at #205-599-0500 or email the airport Communications Team at info@flybhm.com.
Our goal is to assist you in reconnecting with your lost item. Please keep in mind that the airport Lost and Found consists of items that have been turned into us. There is no way to guarantee that a lost item will be found or that, if found, will be turned in.
